ARM 2022 Annual Meeting FAQ

This FAQ is from the 2022 Annual Meeting in Atlanta. Here’s the updated 2023 info.

Do I need to register?

This is our most frequently asked question. Yes, you need to register for the meeting. There is not an option to just walk the exhibit hall at our Annual Meeting. Online registration is available here.

Who is the meeting for?

The program is geared first and foremost to rotational molders. We’ll have many suppliers to rotomolders (resin suppliers, machine manufacturers, mold makers, etc.) attending as well and they will have tabletop booths in our exhibit hall. Consultants, designers, and educators to the rotational molding process will also attend.

When does the meeting begin?

The core of the Annual Meeting’s schedule takes place Monday, November 7 at noon to Wednesday, November 9 at 11:30. You can fly in Monday morning and fly out on Wednesday afternoon.

We also offer add-on seminars and tours Sunday, Monday morning, and Wednesday afternoon.

What does my registration include?

Annual Meeting registration includes access to Keynote, exhibit floor, and reception on Monday afternoon; breakfast, general sessions, workshops, lunch, and awards dinner on Tuesday; and breakfast and general sessions on Wednesday morning. The member registration fee is $995. Spouse registration is $375.

Add-on seminars
Intro to Rotomolding (Sunday from 8 AM – 4 PM) $350
Intro to Rotomolding in Spanish (Sunday from 8 AM – 4 PM) $350

Truist Park (Braves) Tour  (Wednesday 12pm-4pm) $80

Exhibitors can register employees to work their booth only for $475 – but each exhibiting company must have at least one person registered at the Annual Meeting level.

What’s the difference between the general session, workshops, and seminars?

During the General Session on Tuesday and Wednesday, all attendees are in the same room, listening to the same presentation.

Multiple workshops take place at the same time on Tuesday. Annual Meeting registrants choose among workshops to attend during four time slots.

Seminars cost an additional fee. Introduction to Rotomolding is offered in English or Spanish from 8 AM – 4 PM on Sunday. Advanced Rotomolding and Design for Rotomolding are held Monday from 8 AM – Noon.

When is the exhibit hall open?

The exhibit hall is open Monday from 2:30 – 7:00 PM and Tuesday from 7 AM – 9 AM and during a coffee break Tuesday morning.  You can review a list of our exhibitors here.

What’s the rest of the schedule?

The schedule is available here.

There are thirty-minute networking breaks throughout the program. There will be coffee and other refreshments.

Can I get a hotel room?

Our room block at the Westin Peachtree Plaza has closed. There are many hotels and AirBNBs within walking distance.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

A taxi ride should take about 20 minutes. Taking MARTA from the airport to Peachtree Center is only a few minutes longer.

What should I wear?

The meeting is business casual. Some people will wear blue jeans. Dress up a bit for Tuesday night’s gala dinner.

Some people will change for the Tuesday After Party. The theme is Back to the Future.

When is the exhibitor setup?

Monday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. To make setup go smoothly, exhibitors are strongly recommended to ship to Alliance, our Exhibitor services provider. Everyone is experiencing labor shortages and we don’t know how long deliveries to the hotel will take.

What is suitcasing?

Suitcasing is an unprincipled business practice in which  companies who are not exhibiting gain access to an event by obtaining event credentials (attendee badge, expo-only badge etc.) and then solicit business in the aisles or other public spaces used for the conference. Please note that while all meeting attendees are invited to the exhibit floor, any attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or any company’s booth will be asked to leave immediately. Don’t make it weird.

What if I need help at the show?

Our registration staff will be able to answer many questions and can contact ARM staff for help. If there’s an emergency, contact security.

I have a question you didn’t answer!

Send an email. We’ll keep adding questions as the event gets closer.
