2016 Executive Forum Exceeds Expectations

Fifty-seven molders and suppliers attended the ARM Executive Forum in Las Vegas for three days of education, networking, and fun in the valley of the Red Rock Mountains.

Tom Innis from Avantech says, “The Executive Forum once again provided business leaders with high-impact presentation content in an intimate and interactive setting.”

All of our survey respondents told us that the meeting met or exceeded their expectations, with 35% telling us we exceeded their expectations.

Twenty attendees toured the Red Rock Mountains and took in the breathtaking vistas of Calico Hills, which must be seen to be believed. The tour group also had the pleasure of a coincidental mini-reunion as we ran into Rotational Molding Hall of Famer Peggy Burlingham at the Calico Hills overlook.

The education sessions opened with Paul Reilly’s very impressive talk on Value-Added Selling, one of our highest-rated talks ever. Tom Richmond, Dutchland Plastics, presented his insights on marketing products and the rotomolding process. His presentation was followed by an interview with Daven Claerbout of Dutchland.

Tom Kammerait went in-depth on maximizing the value of your business, with slides dense with case studies and actionable items. Dan Hanson and Andrew Creary of Marsh & McLennan presented on Risk Management.

The meeting concluded with a lightning round of tips from suppliers that included topics as diverse as resin testing, gambling, and gemology.
