The rotational molding industry came together in force for Rotoplas 2024, ARM’s flagship event, showcasing the strength and vibrancy of our industry. With 80 exhibitors and just shy of 1,000 attendees from 36 countries, the conference buzzed with energy, ideas, and opportunities for growth.
Alvin Spence, ARM President, Centro Inc. summed up the event’s success:
“Rotoplas created one of our biggest industry gatherings (as it typically does). We had suppliers from all over the world participating. The show floor had a buzz for most of the afternoon, and the suppliers were very satisfied with having the opportunity to meet with so many from the industry.”
Tad Upah from Ritchie Industries captured the spirit of innovation at Rotoplas:
“Thank you for all you did and continue to do to make events like Rotoplas 2024 successful for all the members of ARM. I am truly amazed that such a diverse group of individuals can come together and share their knowledge in a way that encourages innovation and growth in the rotomolding industry. I believe that now as much as ever that we are on the cusp of something truly great and the next 5 years will show tremendous technological advancements along with the sharing of information/knowledge at a level we have not seen in this industry.
Jake Kelly-Walley from Matrix Polymers shared, “I had the most insightful Roto conference and made some fantastic relationships.” This blend of knowledge-sharing and relationship-building is at the heart of what makes Rotoplas so valuable to our industry.
Katia Zopetti from DRAM SRL praised the event’s organization and content: “Very good content and I appreciate the time available to network and connect with people. Very well organized.”
For Chad Hess from API, the scale of the event was eye-opening: “This was my first meeting, and I was blown away with how many people came together!”
This sentiment was echoed by many first-time attendees, particularly those benefiting from our initiative to offer free registrations for under-40s, bringing fresh perspectives to the conference.
Justin Kelley from Portacool expressed a commitment shared by many: “I will be attending every time and will recommend others.” This dedication to ongoing participation and spreading the word ensures that our community will continue to grow and evolve.
The educational aspect of Rotoplas was particularly strong this year. Dr. Nick Henwood’s Advanced Rotomolding seminar and Dru Law’s Roto 101 seminar were both sold out. These well-attended sessions, along with other workshops and seminars, provided valuable opportunities for seasoned professionals and newcomers.
ARM is grateful for our exhibitors, speakers, and attendees who made Rotoplas such a dynamic event.
