What ARM Did in Q2 2024

ARM provides an extraordinary return on investment for our members. Here’s a summary of what we did in the second quarter:

  • Advanced preparations for for Rotoplas 2024 with more than 75 exhibitors already signed up! Register today!
  • Awarded the Roy Crawford Education and Development Scholarship to five deserving seniors to aid their college education.
  • Conducted surveys on the Rotomolding Workplace Environment and AI in Roto to benchmark and learn what our members want to know about artificial intelligence.
  • Facilitated a discussion on comprehensive software solutions, managing complex shapes, and integrating AI in production, with special thanks to moderators Jon Ratzlaff of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company and Sandy Scaccia of 4Roto.
  • Held two April Seminars: Introduction to Rotomolding and Advanced Rotomolding
  • Launched the new ARM Health & Safety Training Certificate Program, a FREE benefit for all ARM members
  • Organized a professional development webinar on Pneumatic Clamping Case Study – Thanks to JS Engineered Services for presenting!
    • NEXT UP: July 16 – Economic Outlook for Manufacturers
  • Partnered with IT-RO to conduct a successful Executive Forum & Tour of Italian Rotomolding Factories, attended by more than 130 ARM and IT-RO members.
  • Published blog posts on What’s the Science Behind Using Zinc as a Mold Release Agent? and ARM Booklets on Amazon! 
  • Rediscovered and shared a resource for ARM members: ARM’s Chapter on rotomolding for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, written by ARM Hall of Famer, Philip Dodge
  • Welcomed new ARM Members:  CEFET-MGCreating Ideas SAS, Polycon Gulf Limited, and Rotoplastyc.
